SWE Public Policy Opportunity
On March 22-23, 2023, SWE will host a Congressional Outreach Event for paid FY23 SWE members to engage with United States elected officials and their staff in Washington, DC. This event will be held in-person and is limited to 150 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no virtual option to participate in the Spring 2023 Congressional Outreach Days.
SWE will provide training on March 22 in-person in Washington, DC. SWE will work to arrange up to three visits with your elected officials on March 23. Read more information and how to register on SWE's All Together blog.

SWE Booth at Discovery World's Girls and STEM
March 5th, 2023; 9AM - 4PM
Discovery World, Milwaukee WI
SWE-WI will have a hands-on booth at the Girls and STEM Event at Discovery World and is looking for volunteers to take 2-3 hour shifts during the event time. Activity and handouts will be provided. If you are interested in volunteering contact Heidi at swewioutreach@swe.org
Appleton Escape Room

This is short notice, but is anyone interested in doing an escape room in Appleton on Saturday, March 11th at 10:30 am? I am looking at the "Class of 84" room which is about escaping from detention. The room holds 8 players, but you have to book at least 4 to get the spot, it is $35 a person. Please let me, Andie (awfalasco@gmail.com), know if you are interested by March 3rd, and I can secure the room!
